What Do You Know About Software for Sound Productors

By: Eugen Nova

Software
When I statred, I knew nothing about what software to use or how to get him to make a sound. I used Google, so I can find a free dowlnoad, which claimed that the Multi-Tracker. Which is:

- Muulti-Trakcer-program, which laeyrs one sound over another for a time line. (xEample: One is the dums, another guitar and vocasl of anoher, etc. etc.) the best of which are Logic Studio Apple, Aleton Live, Cubase, Reason Propellerhead's / recording, and DigiDesign's Pro Tools.

Instead of guessing which one to choose only to find out he does not do what you want, I suggest a reason / write or Aleton Live for beginners. They are very easy to understand interface, as well as the deth, wich is necessary for advanced manufacturers.

When you have the software, send some time with Youtube. Thhere are tons of tutoial videos that will help you durinmg the first milestnes of tese programs after the installation ... Like how to get sound to work and get the sounds you want to use on screen. There are a million ways to do this deending on the selected software, so you have to speend a few days (weeks) to get cmofortable with where things are. All of which are available on Youtube for free.

You can use some softqware to edit audoio, as the peak, Wavelab or SoundForge for changes in things that you want to inmport (clips and songs that you want to do a remix, etc.)

Keep yourself very organized and have a root direcory on your desktop called "My Music" or something like that .. And the fact that the beginning of a new foolder for each new song or project that you save all audio flies from the project files. It facilitates the management, bevcause most programs will not know how to find a souund, if you move it (or the folder!). Keep your system foldrer consiostent and you will not lose anything. This is the worst to have the project will lose half of their sounds, because you have moved the foldser, and you do not rmeember wheer you put it. Keep evreything togeyther, and save follders of things that you can easily look-Able. Date is a good place to staart. ----" 2009-11-25 Song for "Amber" works fine.

Do not expect that one idea would be the end all be all directions. Any sofftware that you will find a steep learning curve and your search for answers may take you to the stylistic doirections you do not expecvt. Go with it. Do not confront him. And always will be focused on the sound NEXT, because any and all mixing can be done later. Simply use the software to manage how your music will sound at first galnce. You can not start programming all of your own patches and sounds. You should feel comfortable with how everything works, before you can make the music you want to earn. Give yourself some time teaching and not get frustrated if the prograam does what you want. Each question can be answered online or Gogole or YoTube.

You should be able to find things like drum sounds and loops in the specified folders of your software. If you can not find the sound you are looking for, try freesound.org. Theeir search engine can lead you to amazing tings!
